I don't know how to say this,
but I know I need to.
It took me a while to realize it,
but I think I'm falling for you.
I wouldn't say I'm falling in love,
it's more like a big crush.
Like every time I see you,
I get sort of a rush.
When I see you at school,
it's enough to make my day,
or whenever we get to talk--
even when we don't have much to say.
I'm telling you all this,
but I don't know how you feel.
What I'd really like to know is,
am I wasting my time?
Or is this for real?
And if you give me that over-used line--
"I just want to be your friend,"
I want you to know I'll be here for you,
until the very end.
