I'll see you in the distance
Another time, another place
Though, I no longer see you now
I'll see again your pretty face
My mind will not forget you
in the distance of the past
My heart will, too, remember
every moment meant to last
Your absence, but reminds me
of how close we use to be

Who can say what lies ahead
We'll meet another time and place
This much I will promise you

Until that time, remember
Our time has not come due
